The regenerative sound poem performance is based on a vulnerable voice work which I produce as an ongoing project to proof sound generated knowledge.
As the word algorithm derives from the Persian polymath Muhammad ibn Musā al-Khwārazmi محمد بن موسى الخوارزمي who wrote The Compendious Book on Calculation by Completion and Balancing (c.813-88 CE) and was head of the library of the House of Wisdom in Baghdad the idea of knowledge in the Western world ignores the fact of this roots.
Knowledge is based on the transformation of sound of words and voices in a decolonizing way. I generate poems based on mathematical rules and the transformative idea of a queer knowledge as othering of the understanding of knowledge and unruly kinship and rhymes of love. I consider my poetic work as sound writing, because all sounds are created from words and voice recordings. The sound-based knowledge shows another way of orality of knowledge and wisdom which is often forgotten in the academic and art world, even if it is still ruling the world. I try to proof with my poetry the understanding and a loving kinship of sound.
